Batteries add weight — a lot of weight. Weight kills performance. Charging infrastructure at marinas is spotty at best. And when you’re on the water, range anxiety isn’t just inconvenient — it’s dangerous. Marine outboards have decades of proven reliability, global service networks, and refuel in minutes. Our 2030 goal is a fully electric outboard system — but only when performance and range exceed our gasoline propulsion.
